#923 Do you like the song above? in Music, Movies, TV
DrJeremyEnjoyable - mainly because it brought back memories of beating the game, and how weird it was to play Pokémon on Gamecube.

I thought the drumming was really good, I had to really crank up the track because its soft, but it lead to me watching the live version and that was just as good.

stop worrying about why and get what you want outta it. it could be a laugh, perhaps something deeper, but the discussion was geared more towards the fact that content like this was TAKEN DOWN, not so much the purpose of the videos to begin with.

doesnt THAT bother anyone? censorship is something people are overlooking lately, and right now its being abused in a manner that's only foreshadowing bigger problems. this guy didnt sign up as a partner, or take any money, but after a year of this stuff he finally gets his google account fucked.

this was the point and main issue of my post, you are getting nowhere bickering about WHY he does it.

#26 Hardcore - The World's First Action P.O.V. Film in Off Topic

whats so special about action? enter the void had a better impact artistically and emotionally and that was entirely from a first person perspective. yea its impressive technically, but so are first person shooters and I reallllly don't see a point in recreating one as a live-action movie. that's like fucking watching a walkthrough of a game on youtube with no commentary, and to sit through an entire FILM of that would be stupid.

also, is that sharlto coley as the ww2 guy? he looks and sounds just like him, you can even hear a hint of that accent hes got

I'm not sure if any of you guys heard of this guy, or watched his channel, but his last upload was insane. for some reason, I had a gut feeling something happened recently. I pulled up his account and got this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhZtV0YtATQ&list=UULd-8dbneh6QHH2pd55u6kA

what did you guys think about his "work"? are you surprised it got taken down, or do you want it back up? google is being a hardass once again, but is it for the right reasons? what about free speech?

I dont want to get all deep and shit, but I'm rather mad that this happened overall.

his last upload, that i'm assuming got his stuff taken down: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=d8e_1413271084

do you use a tablet? try to loosin your linework up or give it an organic feel by making your own vector brush of like a inked line, then experiment with line depth and weight. it will definitely help you step away from that vector look you got going on

#3 Grand Rapids, MI in Off Topic

I lived in GR for 2 years, and its such an awesome (and might i mention, CLEAN city). Art Prize is incredible, so many artists from around the world visit. The food is killer, dont forget to visit everything. Lots of pubs, dont forget to check out the pyramid scheme for some awesome shows and drinks.

plenty of weed around as well, its practically legal. 20 dollar ticket if you get caught. idk how old you are, but the college scene is awesome too. I went to school at Kendal, if you swing by check out any student gallery's that might be open.

So yea, have fun.

pudding_cupIf you don't like your NA or AA meeting group you can usually find others. I was even able to find one for myself that was for atheists specifically which might be an option if all the God and Jesus stuff puts you off.

The most important part of recovery in my opinion is learning to love and forgive yourself. It's essential that you want to change for yourself and not really for anyone else. None of us are perfect, but nobody is worthless.

In any case you sound like you're doing well so keep up the positive attitude.

thanks dude, the whole "you need faith for this program to work" thing, I realized it doesn't have to be a "god" of any specific religion. It doesn't even need to be a god, period. My faith comes from the figures I look up too, folks who (after doing a bit of research) overcame the same things I'm going through.

I was surprised to find out Tom Waits was in AA, and he had the support of his wife to make a huge change for the longevity of his life and career. Its more expansive then how I summed it up, but his decisions, along with others really make a difference with how I behave and treat myself.

ZoltanI know that you hate it and it sounds dumb, but keep going to meetings. Even if everything they say is retarded and you hate everyone there, you think the 12 steps is dumb whatever, even having any connection with people in that community will help you stay sober. Seriously never stop going to meetings.

yea, I'll keep going to NA meetings for the next 90 days after i get out from my outpatient group every other day. I know some folks can do without it, everyone is different and I really have no idea, nor do I wanna risk testing the idea of me not going.
