this might seem silly but i recently got a usb-c to ethernet adapter and it didn't work until i restarted the computer with the adapter and cord plugged in

if it doesn't work at all but the headphones do, try different usb ports on your computer, my headphones don't work completely until they're plugged into exactly port #3
