Just get a 3570k, you wont regret it. You will have to get a new motherboard aswell.

Hey rays, love your hud. Just found a couple minor issues.

I think this has to do with my 4:3 ratio but when playing mvm the top box is messed up. Here are some screens (RES= 1280x1024):

#8 Choosing a 660. in Hardware
dMenaceNo doubt the 660 Ti is a good card, just stock 670 for the price of a 660 Ti is in my opinion more ideal. Just because you can take the 670 even higher than a 680. 660 Ti won't do that without treading into the zone of instability.

The 660 ti's on Newegg are alot more expensive then on NCIX. The price difference is almost $100 between a 660 ti and 670 using NCIX.

Preforms almost exactly the same or better. Just get whatever is cheapest.
That seems pretty good. I'll consider that. Thanks! I'm not too good with this, but can you (or anyone) explain the difference in cost here:

Asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti GTX660 TI-DC2O-2GD5 Video Card - 2GB, GDDR5
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3907660&CatId=28
$314

Asus GeForce GTX 660 GTX660-DC2O-2GD5 Video Card - 2GB GDDR5
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4811223&CatId=28
$287

It seems the regular 660 has a higher clock, while the Ti has more 'stream processors', whatever those are. Google's being cryptic at the moment: seems like no one's got a clear answer.
dMenaceIf you have that money, Just get a 670. 660 Ti is just an underperforming 670 at the same price of a 670 on sale. And they're on sale.Even on sale, the price is a bit rough for me. Thanks for the heads-up though, I appreciate it.

Here is a comparison on BF3, as you can see the 660 ti performs better and will overclock better. The higher clock speed doesn't matter as much as the other technologies. All together its worth the money IMO with overclocking. Also if you're in Canada get the card from this site: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=75685&vpn=GTX660%20TI-DC2O-2GD5&manufacture=ASUS&promoid=1285

A lot cheaper aswell. :]

EDIT: Here are some overclocking benchmarks in BF3:

TwitchTVJohnLazyPandaBuild your own, its easy and will be a lot cheaper.
If you need any help the guys at www.reddit.com/r/buildapc are very helpful and can help you with any questions you might have

Personally, this is what I would choose but it's all up for debate. Do some research on your own and see what conclusions you draw

This build is great, but the video card is a poor choice. MSI 660ti power edition is the GPU of choice for anybody building a single card machine right now. It out performs the 670 SC and the 680.

Both preform almost exactly the same.

Cool video with great jumps, but it had too many song changes imo.
