#58 Do you think Valve cares about 6s? in TF2 General Discussion
quintoshBBiA_duchessJunkconsumonnLiterally all valve needs to do to fix mm and balancing is to fly a bunch of top players from around the world to valve hq and have a huge-ass think tank about competitive balancingThat'd take money, and that's a big no when it comes to Valve.
Just have a huge Skype conference or whatever people use these days.

Valve makes upwards of $150 million of tf2 per year. If we are being super generous, it takes them $50 million to maintain the game. If they dropped $1 million (or even 100k) to help out the game, it really would not be hard.

where are those numbers coming from?

That was in 2013. Hard to tell how much they are making now. But it is at least over $100 million

#41 i58 Predictions in LAN Discussion

tbh I don't see why everyone says "if b4nny is playing well". On sunshine b4nny was bottom damaging, but FROYO still won thanks to Freestate and the rest of the team. The rest of froyo players are all amazing in their own right.

EoNBBiA_duchessspringrollsi am not convinced that valve cares about 6's until they implement class limits
tbh a class limit of 2 would work perfectly. There is no need for anymore than 2 classes. A class limit of one is way too restrictive, but two is fine and very easy to implement.
2 demos can have upwards of 4 traps and can make team pushes way slower
2 medics will ruin the uber race
2 snipers can each stare down a sightline in spawn and change class quickly for an early force
2 engies can easily hold badlands if each is placed on top right and top left
2 pyros can deny an uber hard with double the ammo of 1
2 heavies can LG the fuck out of anything in the sky

Right but the point is that if you have 2 heavies for example, you push super slowly. If your two snipers can't hit anything, you're down two players. Everything has a trade off. Two medics can be powerful, but once again you have less dm.

#698 unpopular tf2 opinions in TF2 General Discussion
Smesiborh eu and na are in a slump so there's a good chance that au wins i58

Jasmine might be able to beat LEGO, but perilious or crowns or froyo?. Don't think so.

Pontrando is legitimately one of the most childish people ive ever seen

b4nny said that ronin players wouldn't stream because they didn't want to show their shitty personalities, but really everyone seems super chill but rando.

KonceptSo how long was this grand finals compared to other seasons grand finals' length? I know this one was pretty long but holy cow it was exciting

The five hour one last season was longer I think

#4 Random Lag Spikes in Q/A Help
E1iteBBiA_duchessProbably something to do with your wifi/ethernetBut it only happens with tf2 and nothing else. Every other game is completely fine. Plus it effects my frames, not ping.

If it affects your frames then why are you calling it lag
