I'm sure you've all had that experience in high school, you have a test, and you didn't study because you were grinding mge/ pugs last night, and like you can't end gaming on a winning streak, but you can't end on a loss, so you don't study. You look down at this chemistry test, and you have no idea what is on this page. At first you think that your chemistry teacher is retarded because first of all he spelled moles wrong, and second of all what does an animal have to do with chemistry. Needles to say you fucking bomb that shit so hard and you think, gee I needed to not go to school that day so I could study and do my test later. Well I have a almost guaranteed way to get out of school.
I swear to god I noticed this like 4 years ago. I noticed that if you need to get up early if you go to bed thinking "I need to get up at x time" and if you focus on it you will almost always get up at that time. I sort of thought that the same thing could be applied to feeling sick, as it's like another body function, I don't know where I got the idea from. Needless to say, if you focus on the fact that you are going to be sick tomorrow, and you imagine that your family gets the flu before going to bed, you will wake up being genuinely sick. This way, if you've tried faking sick previously and your parents thought you were lying you will actually be sick. Call me crazy, but it fucking works for me and has worked for some of my friends that have tried it. I swear to god it works. I don't know what it is, I've looked it up and it's like a nocebo effect type thing. Someone better versed in biology explain why this works please.
