Really really solid mechanics but hes honestly kind of a dumbass. Sometimes when ur just hanging out with him in mumble he'll make stupid noises and will sometimes say distasteful things and is generally unlikable by people that aren't just like him (or at the very least enable his behavior). He'll say he's just trolling and is doing it as a joke but last time i checked jokes are supposed to be funny. Bowl also isn't really the type to read a room and will just keep rattling off if nobody is responding positively to his tactless "trolling." I find myself local muting him within seconds of him joining a mumble channel im in (and i know im not alone). If you're the type of team whose players hang out with each other often outside of scrims and matches i doubt you'll enjoy his company for very long.

All of this aside, he is a very fast learner and he will only get better, not to mention he has a very strong presence in comms, which makes him a valuable asset to teams lacking vocal callers. A strong pickup if you don't mind his eccentric personality.

edit: By the way, I fully believe bowl is capable of being an all-around great teammate, as I have had normal conversations with him before without it devolving into a meme cesspool. He just has to get his head out of his ass.

forgive me i hardly skimmed thru most of this and heard a lot of the details through the grape vine, but i get the gist of whats goin on. also its 1AM and im tired.

on one hand, you may have a slightly more competitive top level, albeit a lower skill ceiling. on the other hand, you are forcing a longstanding top team considered "the team to beat" for years to separate because they're too good? and that teams aren't improving at a fast enough rate to get to that level?

you gotta admit, getting good at tf2, let alone to froyo's level, takes an immense amount of time and energy. most folks play this game as a hobby and, no offense to the hardcore gamers, have more productive things to do with their time, even those at the top level, who just happen to be better than most players.

"Just get better lol." Well, it isn't that easy and quite honestly it doesn't really cut it for an excuse at this point in the game's lifespan. Also, haven't people been complaining about how froyo has dominated ESEA for years and how invite always seems to be a battle for 2nd place among the other teams? (not trying to be snarky here, i really don't know, but thats what its felt like for a while). That attitude towards froyo always seemed sincere, at least to me, but now that another league has done what we've all been having dirty fantasies about people seem upset.

I dont think forcibly gutting froyo was a very smart idea just because ethically it seems wrong, but this outrage really only seems to stem from existing contempt for sigafoo and his league/format.
