In preparation for the upcoming Copenhagen Games 2020 LAN in April, the current holders of the #1 Premiership spot 6ix have added Gazy and voxtec to their mix.
In light of the realisation that Swi and jayhyunpae will both be unable to attend Copenhagen Games, the team has decided to play out the rest of the season with the Scout pair who will also be playing for them at LAN.
The pair previously played against each other in the Season 32 Division 1 Grand Finals, in which voxtec’s team, wer das liest ist doof, would emerge victorious. voxtec made his Prem debut the very next season (albeit only playing two matches), sticking with wer das liest ist doof before departing to join 6ix.
Two seasons after losing to voxtec, Gazy would eventually join him on wer das liest ist doof for his Prem debut in Season 34. After originally playing Scout, he jumped to Soldier for Season 35, but is now moving back onto Scout on 6ix.
Team leader ever_x shared some thoughts on the roster change.
Basically it was too expensive for Jay to go to CPH, and Swi couldn't go because of work. Since NasBoii left the Germans, we decided to pick up voxtec and Gazy. We are playing with them for the rest of the season to get as much practice for LAN as possible. We've had very good results with them so far and are both a pleasure to play with. I'm hoping for a 2nd place finish in the season and LAN (assuming it's the same teams as Prem going to LAN). I think Ascent are very strong, but LEGGO are beatable. Should be some fun games coming up!
