FPS lag after jump servers.

I have a mid quality PC and I've been dealing with sudden fps drops down to 15-10 fps.
After trying every config and stuff I was still getting really bad drops.

The other day, a friend mentioned that he is getting the same issue when connecting to a game from a jump server and restarting the game solves the issue.

Any idea on the cause? Have you experienced something similar?

It doesn't really drop frames for me, it just becomes very jittery. hud_reloadscheme seems to solve that though.

I'm also getting fps drops on jump servers.
