I can't seem to manage to open my Lagarith Lossless Video Codec AVI clips in Sony Vegas Pro 17. It gives me an opening error everytime I try. I've already tried installing the Avi Codec Pack Pro and it can't seem to fix it.
Any help ?
My ePic dANk frAgs thank you in advance.

the solution is not using sony vegas

You may need to specifically enable the lagarith codec in the codec pack. Can you screenshot the error and show it here?

well I have Vegas installed in French unfortunately, but it says :
"Warning : An error occurred while opening one or several files.
An error occurred while opening a Codec.
Cannot open file : [the file in question]"

I installed Lagarith manually from its own website, I didn't use a Pack if that makes a difference.

It's possible it doesn't have permissions to read the codec file. Have you tried launching vegas as admin?

Also check the file its trying to read (assuming it shows the full path) actually exists.

I've tried the admin launch, didn't seem to fix it. I checked the path for the file and it's the right one. I've just switched to Premiere Pro for now, guess I'll stick with it until I find the magic fix.
Thanks for the help anyway :)
