STV problems

Hello,
We just recently acquired a new game server. We played our first scrim on it last week. To our great relief, everything including configs was working fine.
Two people had crazy ass plays and wanted to get the clips from the STV. We tried to grab the STV files through our FTP client (I have not set up either sizzlingstats or demos.tf yet) and that was when we discovered STV was not recording properly: it seemed to have recorded both pregame and postgame, but not the game itself.
What causes this issue? I've left the STV settings relatively unchanged from the default settings we received with our tragicservers... well, server. I believe I've only disabled live spectating and nothing else.
Could a plugin be interferring? I've installed a bunch from this here thread (read: all of them.)

Thank you for reading.

RecordSTV can change the name and location of the recording. If you haven't set any of the RecordSTV variables, it should look something like this in the "tf" dir:

match-YEARMONTHDAY-TIME-MAP.dem

If you also start using demos.tf you won't have to worry about FTP-ing and looking for the files of course.
