Hot off their victory in Season 30's Intermediate division, Space Pirates have reformed their roster seeking the treasures of the final ESEA Invite season.
The core elements of the team is made up of Skye, Rekuso, and shamoo, all of whom are making a return to Invite after the collapse of Velocity eSports in the previous season. Demoman chunkey- has jumped ship from Season 30's Hell's Kitchen, who finished in a raw state of 6th place. On the starboard is hayes, who will be returning to Invite from their time in Excellent Adventures in Intermediate. Finishing off the roster on the stern is catface, who is the only holdover from Theory of Knowledge of Season 30, the team slot's former name.
We briefly caught up with catface, who gave a brief synopsis of their Invite team.
We are youths who travel the great seas of space searching for adventure and romance. And 4th place.
In addition, shamoo gave their view of their team's playoffs ambitions with the last season of ESEA Invite on the horizon.
After a lot of trials and tribulations throughout the offseason, we've managed to finally get our six and feel very happy with what we've gotten. Our aim is to make playoffs obviously and try to surprise some people even further if we can, which we believe we have to tools to do this season. This is the last chance for a few of our players to make Invite playoffs, so we're all putting in 110% to try and make that happen and to also have another shot at getting better than 4th.
