For the past few days I've been experincing a problem with my headset where audio only comes out of the left ear on my pc but on other devices both ears work fine. i've updated the drivers tried balance audio fiddled with the jack but nothings worked so far. would apreciate any help i get

Have you considered that the socket or soundcard is broken and not the headset? That should be easy to check with literally any headphones/earbuds.

okay i tested some ear phones i had and they have the same problem .so its the audio socket thats the problem

If it's on a soundcard and it's actually the physical socket that's damaged it might be fixable, on a mobo or if it's the chips then I'd just buy a new soundcard.
