Ascent and Velocity both have striking similarities, with both teams featuring new rosters each built out of players from two teams last season. In the regular season however, Ascent have shown themselves to be a much stronger team, dominating Velocity in a 5-0 game on Metalworks.

However, now comes the Playoffs, with both teams ready to showcase their full strength. Ascent look to finally take another season for themselves after froyotech's dominance of the division and Velocity look to usurp Ascent after losing to the second-strongest team in North America in almost every matchup.

Will Velocity finally find their big break against Ascent, or will Velocity's speed descend in yet another series against their rivals? Catch Cornpop and Row, with Console on the camera to decide which team will proceed to the upper bracket finals and which team will reach their peak terminal velocity.
