My recordings seems to be going into the tf folder rather than my movie folder.
tf2 folder is - c:\program files (x86)\steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf
movie folder is - C:\Users\may9\Desktop\lawena-stable-4.1.18\recordings

help :(

seems to be happening as of latest update. i didn't find a fix but there may be one.

also, kinda related. My tga files dont get recorded into the folder that i have directed them into. I tried twice and it didnt work.
Any help?

mine were going into my tf folder but when i did the file > revert to default settings and remapped the movie folder it seemed to work, check your tf file to see if they went there

where in your tf folder? just in tf itself? or in another subfolder?
because it isnt in the tf folder itself

e: i tried redirecting the tgas as well. and it still doesnt work :(

im having the same issue, and i tested recording using avirecorder too, the game slows and records, but you can't find the files.

Just asked someone on github, and they told me to put the AviRecorder exe file and the corresponding settings.kv file in the tf directory. In AviRecorder's settings, change the tga file path to just "tga" and the avi path to just "avi" and make folders called tga and avi in the tf folder. Now the recording should work and the avi files should end up in the avi folder. It's a temporary workaround until the source code gets fixed, but it works!
