I've had this mouse input issue for a while now. ill be playing, then the game semi lags for 1-2s, next thing you know my sens on my mouse feels different. the dpi doesn't change, the sens on the mouse just changes to really high or really low.
then, for the past 2 days my pc has just been bugging out. while playing tf2, my screen went black, and it made notification noises (ones you would get if you plugged something in, for example, and then tf2 just crashed.
i don't know whats going on really, and i need some help on how to fix it. If anyone could help me out, that would be nice.

After you've tryed basic troubleshooting, such as making sure that mouse accel is disabled in both windows and TF2, checking mouse input commands etc., I'd say that the next step is to reinstall windows as dumb as that could sound. Lots of problems have been magically resolved just by doing a fresh install of the OS. Especially w10, which can be buggy af sometimes.

Yes, I had to do that with Win10 to get my mouse working properly once again.

i've check my mouse setting, in and out of tf2, many times and it seems to all be good. but the mouse input issues is still there. i think ill have to try reinstalling w10, as you suggested.

i've check my mouse setting, in and out of tf2, many times and it seems to all be good. but the mouse input issues is still there. i think ill have to try reinstalling w10, as you suggested.

i got my autoexec/config back, but it just looks like this and doesnt take any effect in tf2 once i put it in:

i reset my pc/re installed windows, and used the command mastercoms suggested. havent had the issue since then, so maybe try that out. it helped me
