As the title says, I am looking for suggestions on an affordable gaming monitor that is worth buying for that specific price.

viperwhat specific price

Well prices are unclear but I am thinking of $300+ but not reaching $700. If there is a lower or higher priced one I would also take into consideration if the quality fits it's price.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01H5KKVME/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1508762930&sr=8-8&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=144+hertz+monitor
the benQ xl2411z sells for sub $300, so I think this one better suits your price range

Not sure if it's that monitor only but most of the prices here are quite inflated. That monitor here is equivalent to $700+, maybe because zowie is uncommon here :(

maybe if you specified what currency you’re using that’d help

either way, $250 usd is the cheapest you’re gonna get a good 144 hz monitor without sacrificing build quality

Comangliaaround $500USD you can get most of the 240Hz monitors

well he said a $250 usd benq xl2411z would run him about $700 his currency, which is his absolute maximum, so i doubt he wants to spend $1400 his currency

If you play games other than FPS titles look into an IPS monitor. Much better colors than TN panels like the benq posted. Slightly slower response times, but I haven't noticed a difference. Recently picked up this Asus MG279Q and can hardly notice a difference in response times between it and my older VG248QE, but the colors are a huge improvement.

That being said, if you only play FPS games a 240Hz TN panel is probably the way to go at your price point.

I had been thinking for a while now and since I am moving out to another country next year, I am sure the prices are lower out there so I guess I'll just have to wait for the better rather than buying a $250 monitor for $700.
