I play on most Virginia servers and would normally get 50-70 ping but since Monday I've been getting 100-130 ping on Valve servers, but on community servers I get normal ping, is there any fix or reason to why this is happening?

I play on most Virginia servers and would normally get 50-70 ping but since Monday I've been getting 100-130 ping on Valve servers, but on community servers I get normal ping, is there any fix or reason to why this is happening?
restart router, restart pc, check for ppl in your network, check for ping setting in matchmaking, check for wlan cable.

It's most likely just your internet routing from your ISP to the servers. There might be little you can do unfortunately.

What can I do to try to turn it down? Or can I call my ISP and ask about it?

As of now when I look at the ping limiter, there is no virginia server,I have been getting high pings as well. I wonder why i cant connect to any maybe they are down? anyways i guess stick to community until valve reconnects or fixes them?

yeah it does, it will probably work for you, it's designed to improve latency by providing better routing or something like that
