When i'm ingame and have my second monitor running, flicking in game to the left (the side of my second monitor) my game will occasionally tab out. i know this usually happens when you run windowed borderless but i've been running fullscreen so i'm not sure what to do. i've resorted to turning off my second monitor but I like the utility of my second monitor while i'm ingame so i'm wondering if there is any solution to this other than turning off the second monitor.

i used to have this issue, and i'm not for sure how i fixed it, but for the longest time i just used cursorlock and made a desktop icon for tf2 through cursorlock

the software says up to windows 7, but i used it in windows 10 for a while so i think it will work fine

if you use a really high dpi you could lower that and raise your sens to compensate

ZootSuitRioterlower your DPI and raise your sens to compensate

I was at 1600 DPI and .75 ingame. Was always tabbing out when flicking, I'm at 800 DPI and 1.5 ingame now and I haven't yet tabbed out

I remember stabby mentioning that problem in his "everything pack" post on reddit.
He probably has a solution for it so you can try to look it up there

I've been using this for years now since I had that issue, it works great. Can confirm it works in W10.
