Hi people

So I have this weird problem where my mouse sensitivity has suddenly changed I guess. So I stopped playing for one week changing nothing. Previously, there were no problems and my mouse sensitivity was fine. After one week, I started up TF2 and noticed that my mouse sensitivity was REALLY slow. like it used to take 2 swipes across my mouse pad to do a 180, now it takes 3 swipes to do a 90 degree turn. Any ideas?

Regards,

Jim

Are there any buttons on your mouse that would change the dpi? it's possible you accidentally just clicked it or something.

it might have lost your preferences and started using default config.

Try to download again your mouse driver or mouse custom program and run those before start the game

Made sure I had the right DPI. I have DPI at 800 and in-game at 1.315. The problem still occurs. Also, the sensitivity only seems to get slower when I am in-game, when I am just browsing the web, there seems to be no problem.

Preferences in-game or out? I have never installed drivers for my mouse either and my sensitivity in-game has been fine. I have just updated my mouse software program, Razer Synapse, but it hasn't helped any ideas?

I still do think it is something related to your mouse software. if not check for these to be like this : in-game raw mouse input enabled, windows accelleration disabled, ingame accelleration disabled.

I would open synapse again and try to figure if your mouse is working with proper dpi. also being Razer you should get on-fly-sens wich is a pretty good feature for sens.

what's the model of your mouse? i remember an old Razer Lachesis doing this strange stuff as Razer did stop releasing updates for it

The problem is with razer synapse, the only way to get rid of the problem is to turn off synapse. Synapse is incredibly buggy and razer doesn't have a fix for this yet.
