Good day folks,
Can anyone wiser tell me / help me with this problem. My TF2 crashes quite often when joining a server (casual,mm,community). So, I was wondering what causes that.
The list of fixes I have tried already:
- Deleting and Installing TF2 again
- Verifying game cache
- Removing all custom files
For custom files, I have Comanglias FPS confiq, custom hud and nosmoke rocket script (or whatever that is called)
My launch options are: -dxlevel 90 -sw -w 1920 -h 1080 -console -noborder -console -novid -useforcedmparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -nod3d9ex -heapsize 524288

Do you have some more details, like: what hud (and when was it last updated)? Your computer's specs? When exactly does it crash (when the map is loading, as soon as you join a class, etc.)? Any error messages?

The hud I use is broesel blue. And the game crashes usually when I pick a class.

maybe try removing some of the launch options, such as -dxlevel 90 which isnt even required after first startup

I think it is somehow related to my confiqs. Now suddenly when I removed my confiqs, it stopped. So have to start going through that apparently :)
It is something wrong with my graphicsconfig. Will dig onto it.
Got my game working now. Something to do with the old graphicsconfig I used. Replaced it with a new one.
