SnivyMaybe when Faceit launches we can organize an NA regions cup on it

Also something I made; going by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis regions and national regions of Canada, the NA regions would be:

New England
Mideast
Great Lakes
Plains
Southeast
Southwest
Rocky Mountain
Far West
British Columbia
Alberta
Saskatchewan
Manitoba
Ontario
Quebec
New Brunswick
Prince Edward Island
Nova Scotia
New Foundland and Labrador
Northwest Territories
Nunavut
What do you guys think about an NA region cup?

I like the ideas but these groupings are really bad.

You've split up US into 8 areas and Canada into 12 (And it should be 13 because you forgot Yukon) Yet the US has almost 9x more people than Canada does :/ Also Nunavut has like, 1/9th the population of Iceland. I would be impressed if you could find even one person from there that has played the game, let alone 6 competitive players.

I think at most you could split Canada into East and West, but if you're sticking with only 8 groupings from the states, you should probably just keep Canada intact.

Go with 12? The 8 specified NA groups, then four groups for Canada, separated by time zone(throw the furthest east provinces in with East/Montreal) Would that be feasible?

RazeGo with 12? The 8 specified NA groups, then four groups for Canada, separated by time zone(throw the furthest east provinces in with East/Montreal) Would that be feasible?

You still have the problem of hardly any people in Canada being so separated. Doing by timezones isn't a good idea because 1. there's 6 time zones in Canada, and 2. You still have a ridiculously small pool of players for the team. Just look at the player map, Manitoba (which is practically alone in it's time zone) has 2 players on it. Now every player in the community isn't on that map, but you'll never find 6 skilled players who have the time and interest to compete in a tournament with strangers if you're only picking form Manitoba.

The most you can split Canada up in one of these would be East and West, but if you're only having 8 American teams you should probably just keep Canada whole.

i58's ''hangover'' i guess. Sadly the tournament is highly devaluated nowadays...

Scheduling was poor, as advertising around it imo
Even though Wiethoofd, Beater and Ceejaey have been awesome so far, I think it's disappointing tftv isnt streaming this, even more when there's all this hype around the game atm

Busy af leading up to i58, never got around to arranging coverage. While we could in theory cast the finals I'd rather give it to Wiethoofd et al than come in at the end to steal their thunder.
