I'm currently looking to play Scout for a mid Open team during S23. I am confident in my ability to understand and play the game at a mid-open level, but I think I still have a little work to do in terms of DM and damage output. I am very willing to take constructive critique, and improve where I can.
Prior Exp:
1 season of Scout in ESEA-O w/ CantBelieveItsNotBuddha (7-9)
4 seasons of Scout in UGC HL (3 mained, 1 subbed)
2 seasons of Scout in UGC 6s (1 mained, 1 subbed)
Schedule:
I am usually available after 8 pm EST on weekdays, and whenever on the weekend. I typically won't scrim past midnight on weeknights though, because I'm old and need sleep.
I would prefer to play 4-5 nights a week. I also really need a team with a set schedule, because I need to know in advance what nights scrims/matches will be.

cayda is a pleasant gamer girl and will Farm . also pokemon go extraordinaire
I think Cayda was spot on with her assessment of herself. From what I've played with her, she's been very receptive to what the team needs at any given moment and is an all-around solid team player with good comms. I think once she gains that confidence in her own dm, you'll be getting the complete package in scout, so definitely look into getting that early!

I played with her a bit last season. Cool person, always pleasant to hang out with. Smart player who takes criticism well and quickly adapts her play accordingly. Her DM's also better than she implied IMO.

Cayda is the most dedicated player I have ever seen. Only teams that are serious about playing should pick her up, she's also insanely good at either roll on scout. Her gamesense is better than her DM imo though, but she is and is willing to improve. She also like never ever tilts. Strong pickup for any mid open team.

I had originally decided not to play tf2 season 22 but cayda and crew needed a demo last minute and asked me if I could do it. I obviously said yes and that team is the reason that I am playing again this season. They re ignited my spark for 6's by being so fun to play with and if that doesn't sound like a positive environment I don't know what does. Cayda was a huge part of that environment being so positive. She does get down on herself which is without question her biggest weakness but not once did she tilt towards a teammate.
She was extremely accurate in her self evaluation like Keith said except for one detail. When she is feeling confident in her play and her aim she can really start wreaking havoc. The opposite to that is that she doesn't often feel as confident as she should. She has been getting better about it though so pick her up on a team willing to give her a boost when she needs it and you will have a serious fragger on your roster.

There's not a lot I can say that hasn't already been said, so I'll say it again. Good, positive attitude. Smart, vocal player, not a bot. Picks up things quickly and plays intelligently. Easily mid open.
She also speedruns Portal now, so that's cool.

So I'll say pretty much what I said before
She's a really good teammate who is very receptive, and undoubtedly has improved a lot over the season since I last pugged with her.
I hope she can find a nice high open team, because she is at the very least a solid mid open scout
