After looking into the rules myself I found that technically they really didn't break any rules. I do understand that Brightly is widely hated by a large amount of the community, but even still, how can Masternoob do this? How has everyone allowed him to become such a tyrant? Another thing he was mad about was that "they kept the mods busy in the forums." Kept them busy? Made them literally do their job? Here's some insider info on how they got banned. http://prnt.sc/c5319w Sibby(one of the players who got banned) submitted this form. soon after they were all banned. Sadly this thread didn't go through the ban reports, but I thought I would share it with you guys to make sure that people see it.

I've played a few games with and against brightly, and it's simply awful either way. it ruins the experience, and it's not fun. This was absolutely the right decision and the shocking thing is that it took tf2c's moderation team this long to come to it. Their service is now better and more enjoyable than it was 24 hours ago.

choosing between the two is basically choosing whether to play or not. there's rarey enough people on tf2stadium to start a lobby in under 30 minutes. it's a lovely service, but i just want to play as soon as possible.

I've played some lobbies against him, he played vaccinator med the entire time and their team would go pyro, so we would just counter troll and use vaccinator ourselves and offclass to heavy. banning brightly for a year isn't really justifiable, but I did get upset since I would much rather play uber v uber traditional 6's.

they did break a rule here and there. Even if they weren't breaking TF2C rules, what they did was annoying and awful to play against/with.
