Trouble choosing a main

As a general rule of thumb scout mains are plentiful, sometimes roamers or pockets can be tricky to find, and demo and meds are the hardest to find. But you really should just play whatever you enjoy the most. Experiment with all of the roles you are interested in, and don't feel obligated to only play ONE class. There isn't some kind of rule that says "once you main x class you are never allowed to play y class!!". When I was first getting into comp I played combo classes in lower UGC divs, but when I got into ESEA I switched over to roamer- and I could very well end up changing classes again.

AdebisiSure, but it seems odd to have 1500 hours overall and only 400 ish of that spent in games.

You certainly used to be able to reset your stats. I had hundreds of hours under medic from pubs, then one day years agp I reset them (returning my hours played for each class to 0, but not my total tf2 hours) and started playing jump maps and soldier has appeared my most played class in my stats.

AdebisiPertAdebisiDumb question perhaps but shouldn't your class played hours add up to about 1500?AdebisiIncoAdebisiDumb question perhaps but shouldn't your class played hours add up to about 1500?hours aren't only play timeSo what's he been doing for the 1100 hours not spent in his class times?
Hours on record just records the number of hours the game is open, this includes time spent in the main menu

Playtime (hours) are hours spent in an actual server and is much more accurate in terms of actual playtime

What I assume is there should be another 0 where there isn't one or a lot of accidentally leaving the game open
