TF2 Freeze + Windows 10 "sound playback" issue

Windows 10 "sound playback" issue
Sometimes when I play any game, or sometimes no games at all, the ability to play any sounds is completely removed from my computer. Sounds in games don't work, the start menu doesn't work, I get error messages whenever I try and play a video on youtube or a song on spotify (from the respective apps/sites). I have tried restarting finder but that sometimes makes it worse and messes up my desktop. Whenever this happens I HAVE to restart my pc 1-3 times in order for sound to work again.

I would appreciate any help on these issues. Thanks in advance!

TF2 "Freeze"
Sometimes when I'm gonna play pugchamp, and don't have tf2 open it's convenient to just click join game to open tf2 and join server at the same time. However, sometimes when I try to do this my computer "freezes". During the "freeze" I'm sometimes able to use push-to-talk and sometimes not. Alt-Tab and Alt-Ctrl-Del don't work. During these freezes I can still see what's happening in the tf2 game, I just can't click on anything. It's stuck in the welcome screen you get when you join a server.

I'm on windows 10
I didn't get this issue on tf2pickup or on tf2center, only on pugchamp

I seem to be getting the freezing on Windows 8.

I sometimes have the same freezing problem as you do. I can get CTRL+ALT+DELETE to work if i first alttab out of the game, and then ctrl alt delete. Then from there open task manager and kill tf2. no other way.
