you really don't want to come to buffalo it's depressing as shit, unless you strictly stay out of "buffalo" or manage to find some gamer here that lives on elmwood / w ferry or lincoln parkway / delaware park. there's some hotels right next ot the airport (courtyard marriot) that are pretty nice and stuff but there isn't much in terms of tourism here other than elmwood ave and blue monk (def go there if you're coming to bflo the poutine is godlike)

Living by detroit for most of my life I can tell you that other than GM tower or like some of the rec centers(like renaissance/cobo) there's almost nothing for you to see, most of the downtown is sorta vacant and lacking and suburbs are a complete mess and depressive as hell.

eXtineCHERRYCan't wait to have his meatballs. 1-800-EATBALLS if I remember correctly
50-EAT-BALLS, IDK where 800-EATBALLS will take you and I don't wanna find out.

dollarlayer-protour really going to detroit? going for that "im a traveler not a tourist" feel eh?
Maybe he can just buy one of those $100 houses in Detroit that they are basically giving away. Would be cheaper than a hotel. :P

Would I need the SS number?

Added Dallas, TX, Knoxville, TN, Raleigh, NC, Boston, MA, Burlington, VT and Montreal, QC to the list!

EDIT: Anyone from Las Vegas or Phoenix areas wants to visit Grand Canyon? I don't think I can rent a car since I'm 20 and have no license, but I can split costs of gasoline if you have one :)
Same for San Fran and Lake Tahoa/Yosemite though Colorado is higher on my bucket list ;D

razeRhettroDuring your time in salt lake if you come up to park city there's some great skiing to be done if the snow hasn't melted yet, and I think my team will still be training aireals if you'd be interested in seeing thathe's going May-September. so, unless we get a late snow and the resorts close down in June or something, the resorts will enter hiking mode(which isn't bad if you're into it)

sorry what I meant is we do summer ski jumping at the Olympic park into a pool to practice our tricks

<3 Now I'm more worried about my interview than ever seeing how much I can miss if I'm denied. It's tomorrow morning so keep your fingers crossed gamers! Any case my Polish friends already heard how hospitable Americans are :P
Odds are high I'll get visa since consul has no reason to believe I'm going to USA to work, but everything can happen..

Congrats on the visa! I recommend visiting philadelphia if you'll be going that way. The summers are beautiful and active (if maybe a lil humid), the public transit system is robust, plenty of cheap delicious street food, it's a very walkable city. There's also a shitton of transportation options out of philly to other cities (NYC, Baltimore, Washington DC, etc.) via Amtrak or Megabus/Bolt bus. If you book far enough in advance you can get a bus from 30th street station to NYC for <$5.

Not too much to see here in Iowa besides cornfields and small towns. Tenderloins and maid rites are some good foods to try. There's also the state fair in august thats pretty neat. Everyone here is pretty friendly too :)

But yeah American small towns are also something I want to see, after 120 days I might get bored with skyscrapers if I don't vary it enough :P

Also anyone Wyoming? Looking to experience some outdoor stuff and maybe Yellowstone, got any ideas? Greyhound stops in Cheyenne, Laramie, Rock Springs and Evanston on a way from Denver, CO to Salt Lake City, UT.

Also added Des Moines, IA, Talkeetna, AK and Hurricane Gulch, AK, removed Rochester and considering adding Witchita, KA (Seven Nation Army hype!)

Sorry for bumping this thread so often, but I have some big update.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KvTKSXvGY-Ww8Dhi5h_h55jW2mkmLZxrxcRDm3xLnk0/edit?usp=sharing

I got provisional dates for each place (might be late by up to 14 days if I stay somewhere longer, but I'll keep you updated so you'll see it coming long way) so people who wanted to meet up etc. can take a look :)

Also seems like I still have 16 days to use :D. If you have any recommendations, if you think I should spend somewhere 2 days instead of one or go to some place nearby just let me know please! While I will probably enjoy some flexibility once I'm on the trip I'm trying to figure out dates for flights to Seattle, Alaska and San Francisco since price tends to increase once you get closer with these.
