Hey everyone, I've got a rather weird bug with my game that i've had for well over a year now where occasionally ALL snipers are completely invisible. Usually it occurs after brief lag spike. It's very similar to the invisible player glitch, except a couple of differences.
1) it effects all snipers, not just one player.
2) recording and stopping a demo doesn't fix the issue, a restart of tf2 is required.
Fixes i've attempted.
1) re-installing tf2
2) playing with -default
3) -autoconfig
4) re-installing gfx drivers
I play on dx 9. I have an i5 and a gtx 960. If anyone has seen this before or has any ideas please let me know.

This has happened to me with all scouts before, but only twice and it stopped after I died. It's only a bit annoying but if anyone knows a fix I'd love to here it because one of those times I died to stabby =/

Have had same issue in both DX 8 and 9, been going on for the last week maybe? Usually engineers for me, I can only see their gun actually lol.

I had that happen with soldiers occasionally, but it fixed when I went to DX9
