this pretty much seals the deal for coffin nail being the coolest skin. why can't there be strange versions of civ weapons :(

this pretty much seals the deal for coffin nail being the coolest skin. why can't there be strange versions of civ weapons :(
dang am i the only one who thinks most of these stickers look incredibly tacky on the skins
the hot girl on the high roller rl makes sense, the eyes make some sense on the creature weapons
but why slap a cheap 2d clip art generic cartoon bee on a really nice scattergun skin
or ugly pink chips on a rocket launcher with a completely different color scheme
or a 2d clipart acorn over a nice unique texture
i also still dont understand why there are 5 conditions of a weapon. why can't it be worn, ok condition and then new. why are there field-tested and well worn for the almost same condition. if there's a minimal wear then why does the factory new condition of a weapon still show imperfections sometimes
the autumn skin looks like someone used that leaf paintbrush in photoshop and texture wrapped it around the model
but whoever made the coffin nail/cigarette skins did a really nice job. everything is polished and the stickers look more like foiled stamps that compliment the design rather than stick out like an eyesore. they also promote buying the less popular paint for cosmetics
i think if valve used the same quality standards for the gentlemanne collection a lot more people would want to buy their skins. i personally didnt buy other skins with random ass stickers plastered all over because a lot of the stickers just really killed the design instead of complimenting it

you can kinda see it in the steam market now, a good number of weapon skins will have the battle-scarred versions cost more than the well-worn/field-tested versions
