Please help me pick a new mouse

Okay so I need a new mouse. My second g500 (the first one was replaced by logitech for free) is going out like the first one did. Honestly, even though I love the mouse for its wonderful extra thumb-button, I do not like the fact that the cord keeps going bad, or that it doesn't have exactly the perfect sensor.

So I'm willing to start fresh with a new mouse, but I have no idea where to start choosing.

I've also owned a deathadder and while I think [it's a good mouse, I do not like the size (too small) and b]I use a CLAW GRIP[/b].

Because of how big my hands are, the size of the g500 is also nice, although I think it could be even bigger and I would be happier.

I pretty much only want an optical sensor

Price range is pretty much whatever. I'm willing to spend what I need to in order to get a quality product.

tl:dr
optical sensor
for big hands
extra buttons are nice
claw grip

If you don't want to start new, maybe the G400? Unless you can find an mx518 somewhere (but that has prediction you may or may not want).

They have basically the same grip/feeling. Also, you should send me your g500 replacement :>

Zowie AM is a bit smaller than the deathadder, so i think it'll be the best for you.

I think the Zowie EC1 eVo is larger than the AM. I know its larger than my WMO 1.1, according to the dimensions.

mx518 if price is no issue.
g400 otherwise but it may have cord issues.

mx518 is not immune from cord issues. I bought a g400 because the cord on my old mx518 went bad.

PokemonAdventuremx518 is not immune from cord issues. I bought a g400 because the cord on my old mx518 went bad.

same thing happened to me, mx518 lasted about a year and a half before I had to replace it. g400 has been working fine so far.

I have nothing but good things to say about my current Zowie EC1. I'd recommend it.

I guess I got lucky, my mx518 has lasted a good 5 years without significant problems.

Might want to look into one of these since size seems to be such an issue:

Have fun clawing this!

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Just to clarify, I've had the deathadder before, and it's WAY too small. My index and middle finger hang way over the front edge of the mouse when I hold it. So again, deathadder way to small, big mice = good for me.

Yeah I've thought in the past about going for a g400 or an mx518. Honestly though, I'm sort of starting to want to gravitate away from Logitech products for good. Just a personal preference sort of thing I guess.

So far the Zowie EC1 is the closest to the right size that I need. It's just slightly smaller in length, height and width than the g500.
