So the company I work for have been looking at getting into the esports market and I've been chatting with a few of the senior sales guys about ESEA, Insomnia, and now Dreamhack.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but basically we'd be looking at producing some items for sale related to DH or i58 in the future, something that would be customised with the event logo, team name, and in game nickname for example.

So far I've asked a few people if that's something they'd consider buying and if so how much.
Seeing as the poster has just been revealed and is the exact type of thing we'd be looking to produce (With TFTV/DH/Multiplay/etc. involved if possible), I thought I'd open the question out to the larger TF2 community.
Note: I'm not going to steal the poster design and say "hey let's make these and sell them", it's just something of this quality, and overall feel.

Additionally, I'm not going to DH myself, but it would be great if someone that is going could tell me the type of merchandise DH offers, and what gaps are missing. For example, i55 didn't have any personalised things that I found but generic mario/sonic hats for example.
Something that's more personal to the individual like a team hoodie/scarfs/badges etc. That's the type of item we're going for.
Any questions please feel free to add me on steam.

GetawhaleWhat does the tagline "Something Borrowed. Something New." mean

It's a reference to a wedding rhyme

Something old,
something new,
something borrowed,
something blue,
and a silver sixpence in her shoe

I assume tf2 is the something old.

Yes, absolutely. On one condition.

Hire uberchain and the other talented artists we have in this community on a freelance/per item basis and pay them what they are worth. Knowing that a portion of the proceeds are going to a person in this community who has given their sweat, tears and blood to the community for years without compensation beyond a "thank you" in most cases would make me 10x more likely to buy whatever it is you make.

Yes, I was more interested in the relevance to the event.
