my only worry with bernie is he will be too extreme on the liberal end of the spectrum and people will be divided, and that he might go senile in office like reagan, 74 is up there.

hopefully he appoints a good cabinet if that is the case

its also very upsetting to me that hillary is receiving so much cheering for her shallow arguments whereas bernie is being completely reasonable and isn't just saying "yeah lets do stuff!"

its not pandering its compromising silly

bernie is getting slammed. hope he can come back but hillary is just commanding the debate at this point
edit: forgot that health/social issues haven't been raised yet. i think bernie will be strong there and potentially overtake clinton
edit2: bernie really showing his ability on these issues, as i expected. hillary is dodging the most and i wish someone would call her out.
ok i was unsure at first but it definitely looks like bernie won this debate. wonder how the average cnn viewer will react.

I though that bernie was doing very well, he doesnt really take shit from anyone

but the crowd really does seem to support hillary and im not sure why, she has abused so many blatant liberal biases i guess

i think bernie is making decisions on individual issues rather than just going with the liberal ideology

"the american people are sick about hearing about your damn emails" - i dont think its an issue that can be overlooked

"what makes you different than Obama"

Hillary: I'm a woman
gg she did it secured my vote

she really went out of her way to remind the american people that yes, if elected, she would be the first woman president

honestly though all democratic candidates seem like utter shit this time, which will make sure Hilary wins because
1) she's not trump for the people that dislike trump
2) she's a woman

it's honestly sad the democrats can't field 1 decent candidate

"the american people are sick about hearing about your damn emails" - i dont think its an issue that can be overlooked

this so much, Bernie shot himself in the foot saying this

Bernie did fine saying that. We are sick of hearing about Hilary's fucking emails. She either did something wrong, or did nothing wrong, at this point it's just dragging it out for publicity. You're right that it's a big deal, but we don't need to hear about it all the time if no progress is being made.
Lets look at the Republicans for a second:
Trump
Fiorina? (are we still ok with her?)
Carson? (is he still a thing)

Both sides are kind of a joke at this point. Because everybody is digging so hard into their own side that nobody is getting a moderate vote. Like, I really want Bernie, but I also want Trump to end the world by removing Mexico (it'll happen) from the map. Neither one are "serious" candidates, and every other option just seems like a great joke when you actually say it (Chris Christie still wants to run for president? ? ? ? ). Republicans are showing some of the most flaccid, half-dicked candidates ever, since literally all of them have to pussyfoot around Trump's Persona (If i were the GOP, i'd just tell him to run as a third party, he's hardly a good representative). Democrats are trying to hard to pander to every facet of humanity to actually argue a single point. But of course, this is pretty normal until around January, then we'll see some people say fucked up shit.

I wish they would have brought up the general election polls where Hillary gets smashed by every republican and Bernie statistically ties them.

Bernie is not too far left for swing voters. The idea that independents are more inclined to vote for moderate candidates isn't really even true, because independent voters will often latch to a candidate that they like or agree with on one key issue. If democrats want the white house, then running Bernie is legitimately their best shot.

Yeah I think where Bernie could really garner some moderate votes is from his foreign policies and his gun control policies

His socialist ideals could be considered unreasonable, but one really has to take feasibility into account when determining that

Like I said before he has opinion on every issue rather than just conforming to a liberal agenda and I think that will help him in the long run

It really made me sad when CNN published an article saying how well Hillary did and how she attacked the GOP and made herself look strong when all she did was "they haven't done anything" and "I'm a woman"

Like seriously what the fuck

and the crowd ate it all up

I wish I could register as an independent so I don't have to be associated with the idiocy of either side but then I wouldn't be able to vote in the primaries, and this time around the democratic candidates seem better (at least Bernie)

uhhh I'm not really sure where you're seeing that.

It's irrelevant though because polls are shit, and general election polls a full year before the actual election are always going to be utterly retarded. People like Biden always poll really high until they enter the race (you'll remember Clinton polled super high before actually starting her run) and then crash once they have to start campaigning. Polls are useful for following trends and if you're looking at polls a month or two before an election that can be all right but for the most part individual polls dumb as fuck if you're hoping for concrete information on match-ups. Like 3 months ago Scott Walker was the only person beating Clinton in the general. And around now 4 years ago polls were showing Santorum as having the best chance to beat Obama or something dumb like that. We saw how that worked out.
