ScottJaw had some successful "Top 5 X in TF2" videos as well as some L4D mod content, and now it looks like he's just making ~weekly discussion/gameplay videos. No UGC experience.

UncleDane produces engineer tips and trips/general discussion videos as well as some general engineer gameplay videos. Played engineer in UGC Silver last season.

Retro produces mostly educational, discussional, and showcase hat/trading videos, as well as adminning for some high-profile communities and sites. Played pyro in steel in UGC season 13

King Raja makes general content focusing on demoknight as well as some discussion videos here and there. Hasn't played in a league yet but is rostered up in steel for next season.

FUNKe makes some general tf2 discussion/gameplay content. Has some funny lobby highlights uploaded but no UGC experience.

Muselk you've probably heard of. TF2's most popular youtuber has a channel with a variety of videos ranging from pub commentary to unboxings to stream highlights to update discussion. Famous for his soldier. Pretty sure he's played a season of OZFortress but I don't know how to use that website lol.

ArraySeven, althought famous for his "battle medic" strats, has a well-rounded channel focused on medic in general, but with plenty of variety. Has played part of a season of medic in UGC Steel 6s, and is currently rostered on a steel team for each format.

SaltyPhish is famous for his love of spy and the color gold. His channel, while mostly spy videos (including UGC HL clips), also contains lots of content from other classes and games, as well as some SFM shorts. Has a lot of UGC experience, including gold in both HL and 6s.

i know im supposed to be completely unbiased here, and i have nothing against the guy, but that video was in no way objective.

yeah they swap in rankings ever month. basically when star puts out a tf2 video he gets better numbers but he often doesn't.

There are a lot of nobodies in here spouting off some dumb shit about how famous (or not famous) these youtubers are but honestly the pubs vs pros events that have already happened were super fun to watch and with some established names (even if they're not the established names you wanna see) should make it an even bigger and crazier event.

Don't get me wrong there is nothing bad in engi fragmovies, I don't mind them personally, as long as it doesn't have 2 killstreak with a minisentry. Sigafoo is a cool guy and very experienced engineer, I like him.

would a more realistic pros v pubbers/youtubers involve no class restrictions? or would that be way too unfair for the yt team since they can have multiple medics? this would be a 6s competing in the pubber territory

well they are youtubers who are used to these weapons in pubs so...

even against random pubbers the pros in the past have had some issue with the numbers disadvantage they face

losing a damage source would hurt a LOT

obviously the coordination and individual skill is eons better on froyo but 9 v 5 could actually become a pretty close game, especially on gpit.

I think it depends on the player they dropped. If ash/shade didn't show I think they could still get along fine swapping players around. I wouldn't be surprised to see clock constantly getting 4+ks pretty easily considering how amazing his movement is relative to the skill level of the youtubers. Outside of gpit I don't think pros drop a round even if they offclass or are down a player or something like that.

Well, they're gonna lose Badwater like they always do. There just isn't enough firepower to clear the holds and push the cart efficiently. The demoknight will hurt the pub team in that regard but I'm still confident they'll win there.

also i wasn't even supposed to play in that shit lol, i was "backing up" for razgriz from headset radio which by the time this event was happening HSR was dead as hell tf2wise but slick signed the community up for some reason
