so ive got you guys 2 pictures:
pictures
the first one is from today, the second one from a few days back.
as you can see in the first picture, the round part of my scattergun is not round anymore (the "magazin" part) but it was a few days ago as you can see in the second picture.
the same thing happened with my sniper. the regular scope of the tf2 sniper is shaped like a stop sign.

i did not change any settings today, running dx9 and mat_phong 0 and all settings on low.
the same settings yesterday gave me a perfectly round viewmodel of my scattergun.
i already tried to put all my settings to high but didnt change anything.
id really appreciate your help. its annoying as hell and looks disgusting.

thanks guys

They added some lower LODs for weapons in the update today, if you don't like it fiddle with your configs.

If your game looks exactly like the picture then it is definitely a result of having a lower lod settings, although I'm not aware of any other ones that make a difference to viewmodel other than r_lod. Possibly r_rootlod? Also make sure you r_flushlod or restart after changing r_lod to see the difference.

I started the game with all 4 different settings, tried r_flushlod after changing them, but there is no difference.
Always looks like this.
