Yeah, we pushed a new update to the live server, fixing some bugs that made it impossible to get stream keys, resulting in the site being horribly horribly slowed.

I figure there's some high expectations that were set with the holding/sign up page before we released, and now that the site is accessible I feel we should say something on when those expectations are going to be met.
Firstly, the site has been opened up as a limited alpha. This means that some of the things we were pushing as features aren't actually in the public code yet. That includes DVR and Kudos. On the up-side they are coming, along with things like the how-to stream pages and some unadvertised features. Like "no-adverts". We'll do a blog post about that soon.
One of the bigger issues we have right now is that we're bootstrapping this whole endeavour. We're not without personal resources but those can only stretch so far. As of time of writing we can probably only have 4 or 5 people streaming at once. (not a typo). Even with that in mind we can still only do so much testing ourselves. Which brings me on to why we've opened the doors a crack. For us alpha is all about trusted feedback. WEAV.tv's original team all knew each other from playing TF2. We know you guys, and can trust you to give us useful, valuable, constructive feedback. So we're relying on you to poke holes in our site and report back the problems you find and the features you want.
We will always have a soft spot in our hearts for TF2. You know weav got you.

Yup. Just tried it myself can confirm; like a teenager breaking up for the first time, it's not you, it's not me it's just this damned system.
Give it a few. We may need to do something horrible with code. (I've also used that line to break up, went better than the first one).

In OBS, go to broadcast settings, then set streaming service to custom and put the RTMP URL (rtmp://ingest-ca1.weav.tv/live) in there.
now you need your stream key, for that, go back to weav account settings page and press the first of the three buttons (request stream key), that'll generate an email out to you with an activation key, which will need to be imput at the second button. That'll then require our approval (which i'll do), and then you'll get an email with stream key, and you can also see it from the show key button.
I know, its too much a hassle, and we are rewriting it to only be 4 steps instead of 9 or so atm (request key-> email gets sent out if you approve it y/n -> key gets emailed to you. Show key would then also send another email off).
