Does anybody have any suggestions to fix an issue where when I join a server, most of the time (not always) I must rejoin the server to spawn after I reach the class menu?
More specifically, the first time I join the server I typically reach the class selection menu but then do not spawn in a player model, but outside of the map and am unable to play unless I retry the server. This started happening a few days ago, and I have no idea why.

Another issue I'm getting with joining servers is that every time it downloads some sounds (all of the classes saying no). Why would it do this?

Thanks, but it's not. To be more specific, I spawn outside of the map w/ the killfeed active but will timeout later if I don't retry within a few seconds. If I don't retry within a few seconds, I must restart my computer in order to reconnect to the server. What's weirder to me is that this isn't a consistent issue, it's on-and-off.

I may have had a similar issue. Trying typing "spectate" into console and see what happens.
i have to refresh my list twice to be able to join anything.
if i refresh, then join a server from the list, it will simply not find the server.
then, i have to refresh again (and this second refresh takes 10 times longer for some reason), then i can finally join a server.
one of the latest patches gave me this issue, real annoying.

Unrelated, but this happens to me as well. I'm pretty sure it's not a bug, but something w/ the server browser itself so it's no big deal since the servers come back up in the menu.
