that's what happens when you try to help the community. They just shit on you. That's why the community doesn't grow and people can't step up their game. If your in invite and kids do dumb shit like this, would you try to help them?

Hopefully next time a youtube video can be posted instead of streaming so no trolls can interupt, then questions can be asked about the demo afterwards. It would be more work but less dumb asses randies can join the stream and they can be ignored/minus fragged to hell for saying such dumb shit.

Have you seen some of this community, #94? I think there's a lot more to worry about than teaching them what bad trolling is.

None of these people who were complaining seem to be on this site because they're not on this thread so clearly they're not even good.

Whenever i play games i do not notice my mistakes as often.
whenever i watch my demos back i do.
b4nny said he really wanted to hear what pyyyour had to say about the demo.
Because pyyyour is an amazing player.
And if a talented player can give you tips it doesnt matter how good you are you're getting tips from an amazing player.
i bet you that some im guys can review a demo of some invite team and the invite team can learn from it.

The hardest part of giving over a demo is knowing that wrong will be pointed out. When I met b4nny at lan we talked about the prior match and how he felt about it. He was positive, but knew things needed to be changed. Here is the big thing that really makes me respect Brad: b4nny is considered one of the best, if not the best in the world at demoman. Yet Brad was willing to go through it and see things that he (as a medic and demoman) saw that could be worked on. A player from another team, giving pointers and tips on how to beat certain situations and learn from it. Thats huge.

That's what we call furthering the game. I take my own amount of flack from the community (mainly mustardover lord, shoutout baby girl) and I struggle with it and get frustrated by it. I think there should have been a moderator there to handle the nonsense and let the stream proceed.

Mad respect out to b4nny and Brad for this. This isnt just a thing for b4nny to learn from. It was an opportunity to change how people think in game. If you always play a certain way but you see Brad say "try this next time" you can then do it yourself and raise your level of game sense. Keep that in mind any time anyone streams, does strategies, posts threads on tactics. You can always learn from things even if its not your class. It could be a way to counter that class.

Since when can lower skill level players not point mistakes made out by the best? I'm not even talking about pyyour/b4nny, I'm just talking about in general. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh pair of eyes/different perspective.

90% of my TF2 hours over the past 3 seasons have been spent speccing the teams i've been bench riding for. I do this to help see what they are doing wrong and try to offer advice as far as strategy and playstyle. I don't even pretend that i can hang with the rest of the guys skill wise on br0, but i can help point out some things to work on based being that "third eye". A lot of times players get caught up in a routine or the moment and miss a flank or tunnel vision focus. One of the hardest things to do is to understand what you're doing wrong when you can't see it. Simply put, anyone with a solid understanding of the game can offer advice - the real skill of the player is to take that advice and run with it to keep improving, no matter if they are b4nny or an open level player. There is always room for improvement.

My point before was that nobody is arguing against pyyyour reviewing b4nny's demo here. Everyone on TF.TV understands that there's always room for improvement, and watching demos isn't just for learning mistakes - it's also for learning what the right thing to do is.

Regardless, we have 4 pages of the same thing, I think we can stop arguing against nobody now.
