Anyone have their Mouse5 button die? Love the mouse but would love it more with a way to fix this without sending it back.

I have fairly oily skin (Italian background and all), yet out of the G400, multiple Sensei's/Xai's - I have not yet had an issue with the coating. Sorry to hear the people that have :[

Despite me only really playing WoW recently (occasional TFC), I am having no issues with the mouse. The only thing that is a minor nuisance is it being unpowered/not initialised (this is probably when the driver is turning on?) shortly after boot.

e: I wonder when the next mouse that he was planning is being released.

SAAM_Anyone have their Mouse5 button die? Love the mouse but would love it more with a way to fix this without sending it back.

Both of mine were unclickable when I got it-- they had me unscrew the bottom of the mouse to open it a bit and said to push up lightly on both mouse buttons until they were back in their right positions (without forcing the mouse too open of course). If this isn't your issue then probably submit a support ticket-- they were pretty helpful with mine.

Also, I would totally buy a Ninox Aurora 2.0 if the following were changed:

-Fix the Mouse1 and Mouse2 buttons getting stuck/rigid after only two weeks of use-- I felt like my clicks were delayed because of this
-Maybe get a new sensor or find a way to not have the LOD so high-- only real thing that made me switch to my Zowie EC2
-Not sure if this is for everyone, but the program froze on me a lot whenever I tried to make one change and I'd have to restart my PC to fix it-- not necessarily a mouse fix but still.

Other than that this was the best mouse I had ever used hands down :)

yukiThe only thing that is a minor nuisance is it being unpowered/not initialised (this is probably when the driver is turning on?) shortly after boot.

Yeah that bugs me.

One thing I've noticed recently is my scroll wheel seems to be losing its lubrication. It naturally sits a little over to the right side and every so often squeaks and grinds a bit harder against it. Fine after a little scrolling moves the lube around but annoying.

This mouse has tons of potential with the light weight, but personally I find buttons and form like the evo more important. Personally I feel that the new evo is the best mouse I could currently buy, but I feel with some small fixes the Aurora could give it a good run for its money.

switched back to my zowie FK1. I like the weight on the aurora but the shape is too small for me to palm grip.

So are there any others issues I should be aware of other than click delay and the drivers?

GeknaiirSo are there any others issues I should be aware of other than click delay and the drivers?

Mouse 1 tends to get stuck (for a short amount of time but enough to notice) so it's quite frustrating trying to one-tap in csgo.

I got mine, so I guess I'll weigh in...
I love it. I got everything I needed just in case the problems people talked about were true (extra mouse feet etc) and I need none of it, the problems never showed. The only minor gripe is the M4+M5 clicking when pressing below them on the side of the mouse but I will almost never press there, and I only pressed there to see if it was an issue on my mouse as well after hearing about it.

So far it took a while getting the driver software to work. It didn't want to open, and when it did, it wouldn't apply any changes. It just froze and I had to reinstall it. I managed to update to v1.2 eventually and after I restarted my pc it then worked once. I've now uninstalled the driver.

the drivers are unreliable.
bst has said that better drivers are in the making, but i have no clue when they'll be released.

Just reinstalled windows and have no control over the mouse's dpi. Through the software I can change the colors and key bindings but have no control over dpi. My other mice work just fine on this fresh install of windows and can change dpi no problem. Tried installing and reinstalling the aurora drivers but nothing's working. It doesn't feel the same either. Feels like it's not 1 to 1.
