My friend recently cannot connect to anymore NFO servers. This started about a week ago. He re installed his Windows, checked all drivers, anything thinkable was done. Though there was no solution to the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try clearing his DNS https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+To+Clear+Your+DNS+Cache

also see if he can connect to the server directly with the server ip (the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: xxxxx) not the (servername.game.nfoservers.com: port).

I have heard back from him, and his clearing his DNS and connecting to the server ip (also a million other ways) did not work. He has also tried contacting the president of NFO servers, he replied saying he doesn't know what happened. If there are any more other ways would be appreciated.

hey guys i am the noob having this problem

dance#, i have tried:
^^ clearing my DNS cache
^^ connecting using the ip and not the hostname

connecting through steam, console, a steam web link, the hostname, the ip
restarting steam
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release + ipconfig /renew
deleting clientregistry.blob
adding +clientport [my ip] to tf2 launch options
launching steam in -tcp mode
restarting my router
reinstalling tf2
reinstalling steam
reinstalling windows
made sure my network cards drivers are up to date
disabling and enabling my network card, reconfiguring certain settings on it (as suggested by NFO's president)
disabling windows firewall entirely
enabling DMZplus mode for my computer (aka disabling my networks firewall for my computer)

some clarification on the issue: ping and tracert both reach the servers fine. the only programs that cannot reach the servers are steam (sometimes steam does and sometimes it doesnt) and tf2.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated, but keep in mind it's very likely i've tried it already and it's just not listed above because i forgot.
