edit: Holy shit that BG v C9 game. Lanm and Burning were flawless.
From what I've read on chinese forums black is getting cut no matter what. The chinese see many issues with black's play and you can see some obvious communication issues when he plays with vg. cloud9 continues to play poorly no surprise

I feel really bad for n0tail. He was the most talented player on Secret and now he has to deal with someone who watches anime. Yikes.
This is by far Na'Vi's best performance post TI4 qualifiers. They really seem to know what they're doing now, especially with xboct farming out of his mind.

Everyone on that team is far better and more importantly more proven than notail. Zai and Arteezy have done a lot more in much less time. Kuroky and Puppey are legends. Everyone on Secret is an elite-level player. You can't compare notail to them, so yeah he's an average pro.

notail is good, aui/zai are better. secret upgraded c9 downgraded from the trade overall. misery is probably better than pld which theoretically would offset. my guess is it's leadership issues moreso than any playeskill issues.

if after the game they endlessly talk about an sf losing his lane vs a sniper + sd mir roam theres issues
in general they spoke as if the game was hopeless very early on. thjere was a fight top where sf got arrowed at sideshop and the positioning was just awful and secret still almost won. if s4 didnt have bad game it would have been a 20minute steamroll

I'd argue that n0tail is just as (or close to as) talented as the other players in Secret in general, but if you have a choice between n0tail/Fly and Arteezy/zai who have a fuckton of experience playing together and a lot of chemistry in general not to mention their individual skill it's really a no brainer.
I'd even maybe argue that n0tail isn't quite as at home as he could be playing the roles he is. I think later this year we might see him in a different position or even just getting used to the position he's in because the guy REALLY has a lot of skill as a mid if you look at his HoN days. Chemistry is the most important thing in a team though and it just seems like C9 doesn't have any with these people.
