Hi, I have a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate (it was on sale okay don't hate me), and I have a problem. I have bound the M4 and M5 macro buttons to use with Spotify, and they work great. Except when I get in TF2, they are somehow bound to G and P. Is there any way to change what TF2 sees those macro keys as? It's annoying to taunt and explode whenever you want to pause or skip a song. I know I could rebind taunt and explode but that would be too easy.

Go ahead and hate me.

For whatever reason, TF2 interprets the pause/play macro for music players as +taunt. I'm reasonably sure that it isn't Razer-specific; it happens with my g400s binds as well.

this used to happen on my old laptop, seems like a TF2/windows issue, not a hardware one.

I get a similar issue with CS:GO with my Razer mouse.

On my desktop profile, I have some of my side buttons bound to functions like play/pause, which in CS:GO, they become bound to keys such as drop weapon.

I guess it's a Valve thing, but not one they're likely to notice and/or fix in either TF2 or CS:GO.
The only thing to do is have a different profile for TF2 and your desktop. I've noticed in a recent update, Razer Synapse will switch automatically between my desktop profile (No program attached) to my TF2 profile (Linked to hl2.exe). Not an inconvenience, but can be annoying if you play windowed and alt-tab a lot, especially if the two profile are radically different - just worth a note.

Thanks everybody. Looks like I'll just have to deal with it.
