hello, I'm looking for a webcam which may primarily be used for streaming and was wondering if the Logitech c920 HD pro webcam was the best one on the market currently for it's price. I've Googled webcam recommendations and it appears this one is the most popular one used by streamers.
Does anyone also know if $85+/- is the cheapest price it'll go to in Canada?

Should I hold out until Christmas / boxing day to see if it'll go any cheaper or buy it now? I've used shopbot.ca and checked local stores and approx $85 is the cheapest I've seen it go.

Hng I own one and yes, I'm fairly confident that's the cheapest you'll find it for. In my experience over the years, Logitech webcams tend to have a low price that they'll occasionally go for and not deviate much from that until they're replaced with better models.

http://www.pricefinder.ca/ is pretty great for finding the best prices on electronics and computer shit, if you print out the page most places (futureshop, NCIX, canada computers, etc) will price match it.

a good number of streamers have it because they're sponsored, not cause it's the best. just keep that in mind.

I have the C615, and in all honesty I don't think buying a 'nice' webcam is worth it. They are pretty much all gonna look average unless you get into the super shitty ones at the bottom of the spectrum. If you want something that looks great you need to buy a real camera and hook it up like Lange does.
I spent a ton of time researching and tweaking my settings and it's just not something I would drop the same amount of money on again. I'd just get a generic one and save $30+.
