So i just recently changed internet provider and im confused if whether or not they are reducing my internet speed. It usually happens at night, which i assume is due to more people arriving from work, more traffic, etc.
I can play tf2 during the day with normal ping and actually torrent shit but at night my download speed slows down and my ping increases to usually 180-200ms in uk,france servers, etc.(except for germany ones where i can maintain my normal ping which makes me confused since im from portugal). I alredy called them but they just spilled out some bs and didn't helped me at all.

Has anyone of you dealt with something similar to this? If so, what can i do that will make me able to have decent internet at night?

I have the opposite problem, my speed during the day is average but at night it triples.

If the problem is to do with your ISP then it is out of your control.
Either spam them with emails until they fix it or change ISP :/

Like they are gonna respond to emails, just tell them if they don't fix it you'll change provider and if that doesn't work actually change provider, since most ISPs are money hungry scum.

The thing is my parents signed some sort of 2 year contract which im pretty sure makes us unable to change isp during that time.
I just don't understand if it's on my pc's end, i can have normal ping on germany servers but in france and uk servers which are closer to me my ping jumps from 180 to 200.
Is there some sort of hardware(cables, etc.) i can buy that will solve this for me?

No.

Run WinMTR for a few minutes when the pings are good and run it again when the pings are bad.
You could use the results to complain to your ISP that they need more capacity in some part of their network, but they typically don't care too much.
