ParagonStochast1cChaChishould I buy the Sennheiser MOMENTUM or Audio-Technica ATH-M50?
The momentums are better headphones than the m50s in pretty much every aspect outside of price.

Can anyone who owns the momentums comment on the sound quality in regards to gaming?

They have an acceptable soundstage and pretty decent imaging for a closed headphone. Clarity is good, but they are slightly bass heavy (which is actually something that people like for non-fps games). They are probably the best sub $500 closed headphone for gaming. Compared to open headphones, they offer decent sound isolation, are pretty comfortable, and are portable. For their sale price, they are better than pretty much every open headphone in the price range as well (except for very specific applications, playing tf2 not being one of them).

Was hoping I could get my hands on a slightly cheaper 970 but considering they're back order everywhere, I gave in and now I play the waiting game.

Was also hoping I could grab the NZXT H440 case since they were having a sale, but I still have to pay 40$ worth of shipping if I order from their website so I'm kinda on the fence.

I went out and bought a gamecube, 4 controllers, and a copy of Super Smash Bros Melee. Whoo-hoo! Time to pretend I'm good and get smashed and tournaments!
