I feel like this is an elaborate setup to get fnatic portrayed as a movie villain to be taken down in the grand finals by the "good guys" in order to spike viewership. Right? That's the only answer that makes sense to me here if LDLC was not allowed to talk to admins and fnatic were.

OOVOOVlol, what a joke. LDLC uses a boost that hardly affects the game, fnatic use a boost that literally dictates the rest of the match. End result, LDLC gets fucked on what was an insane CT side half.

to say that fnatic should be punished more harshly because their boost was more effective is dumb

the glitched texture violation, which is the infraction that dreamhack is citing for replaying the round, is present in both boosts

people are just angry because one boost ruins the map and one just gives happy enough time to reach friberg spot

flatlinehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNWI-Vb9bHM

are they seriously talking about this boost? i've seen that used literally every single time someone plays overpass. it's like overturning a game cause someone did silo boost

you cant call the fnatic boost illegal without also calling that boost illegal, glitched textures are present in both

or if its the pixel walking that bothers you then there is the NiP spot on B used by LDLC that utilizes pixel walking

fnatic's csgo team is starting to completely ruin the legacy fnatic built as a sponsor. this is upsetting.

Turindude fnatic played like dog shit on overpass and won due to a stupid boost. the better team was ldlc

but the only way i see ldlc winning the bo3 is if they get overpass and CT start out of the random map selection (between inferno nuke and overpass) so im not that sympathetic to them, and i really dont consider them the better cs players if you look at who's better on which map and which maps were vetoed

fnatic are better on mirage/inferno/cache/nuke (maybe)
ldlc are better on cobble (why is this in the map pool in a major)/overpass/dust2

which of those maps strike you as less gimmicky?

Honestly it shows that fnatic knew the map better than anyone else if they found the boost, unless LDLC knew about it and just didn't use it cuz of the pixelwalking and possible punishment. I'd also place heavy blame on valve for not patching that shit prior to the event.

Someone else also found it but fnatic asked them to withhold posting the video on youtube so that they can use it exclusively.

would be expensive and take time and never happen, but I think having high FPS cameras pointed at their mousepads (at least for somebody like flusha) from the ceiling and the ability to sync it up with the game would be ideal. if they do some preset 180/360 turns as control variables, you could then determine exactly how far he moved his mouse and about where he should be looking in game. No idea if this was at a lan, but this method would have determined whether or not he manually flicked there instantly.

he has a really low sensitivity, that's why people who defend him say "as he turns he needs to reset his mouse, that's why it lands on walls". that gif, and a few current gifs i've seen, have had substantial enough flicks that it should be obvious when the camera gets slowed down.

of course it won't help determine whether or not he's using a very small aim assist while tracking people, but it would clear up all of these supposed aim asissted-wallhack flicks. something like this would be noticeable considering his sensitivity.

DH do seem to be slipping, especially with the admin side of things, in Dota2 they tried to make a team play with standins just because the other team needed one. Hellspawn was also involved in those decisions as well afaik.

Maybe he cheats, probably not, but I stopped reading when that OP started his argument for Olof's aim toggle with an accidental shot on his teammate, citing such evidence as "looks like hacks because it's out of character to not be coordinated."

Olof is holding the closet, eyes trained on a few pixels ready to shoot at anything the instant their pixels come into frame... the closet guy moved 3 feet, clearly didn't clutter the comms with his movement, and there is no sense in watching radar when you're trained on a corner to shoot at an instant. Why does "out of character = aim toggle" make more sense than "not communicating this situation = out of character?" It doesn't. If anything, that first clip is evidence that Olof didn't/doesn't toggle, as he seemed to mash fire on the first thing he saw, implying he was trying really hard to be as fast as humanly possible, implying he doesn't have inhuman advantages. He also didn't kill his teammate (which might have been actual evidence of an aim toggle getting stuck as the OP claims).

Don't join the witchhunt, boys and girls. It's always easy to comb through clips and find evidence of someone cheating. That's because cheats emmulate the skills we try to perfect. Don't confuse the effort to play perfectly, or the random times when someone acts strangely as proof of a cheat. I was accused of cheating many years ago sniping in TFC due to a nonsensical, unconventional, "why is he doing that", but extremely effective method of play. I wasn't cheating, but with a wallhack mod on it sure looked like I was. A lot seems fishy when the wallhack mod is on. Dont believe anything that isn't some random committal to killing a target the questionable player ought not have any reason to suspect was there. Those are the only types of clips worth looking at, and even then it's hard to find air-tight evidence that something else didn't clue the player in. You would need a trend of those weird situations happening consistently with the same player, and they would have to show definitive knowledge or intent that otherwise cannot be justified.

I think this interpretation of the rules by Dreamhack is fairly absurd, that the texture glitch rule ought to be applied equally to both teams, when it had a different impact on either team. However, it's sort of an argument of holistic vs strict interpretation.
