So I'm trying to record demos through Lawena, and I choose the option of the "Kill notices only" hud, meaning all I want to show is the crosshair and killfeed. However, I would like to use a killfeed from a custom HUD (it looks slightly different; font, colors, style) but I've had no luck. I tried copying and pasting the "HUD Death Notice" section in hudlayout.res from the custom HUD to the Killfeed-only HUD, but have had no luck. Any suggestions?

I guess you could go to the custom folder that lawena will copy to the game directory and edit the file that is there, before launching the game.
