After updating bxhud I wanted a new challenge, so I decided to make a hud from scratch. After working on it for months, I think it's ready for release, so here it is.

I've done some stuff to make it work for MvM, but I never play it myself, so I haven't tested most of it. If you should have any demo files playing mvm I might be able to make it work.

It might be, I think Intellectual used roboto too. I picked it because it's the same font as bxhud though.

To move ammo down, open hudlayout.res and change ypos of HudWeaponAmmo, and for health, positioning should be at the top of hudplayerhealth.res.

To move ammo down, open hudlayout.res and change ypos of HudWeaponAmmo, and for health, positioning should be at the top of hudplayerhealth.res.

Major update for CBHUD

Changes:
New optional target ID with health bar
New optional alternate disguise menu
Added Arena winpanel
New freezepanel
Fix for overheal colors on target ID
Fixed winpanel for multi-area maps
Made payload hud elements more compact
Made engineer's "building..." meters bigger
Brushed up the closed captions
Fixed "Scrambling teams" message
Updated for EOTL context menus in backpack

Go into cbhud\resource\ui and change the following:

For the new optional alternate disguise menu: Delete the current folder called disguise_menu and rename the folder called disguise_menu-ALT to disguise_menu

Im amazed at how nice this looks and I immediately downloaded, but of course I'm terribly shit at downloads and programming and stuff, so could anyone help me with what I'm supposed to do?

I was already planning on releasing a big overhaul update, and because of the trade-ups, it got pushed to the front. Check out some of the stuff I changed in this imgur album

Changes:

  • New main menu (you can still find the old one in the customizations folder)
  • New Class selection and Team selection menus
  • Cleaned up the loadout screen/backpack menu
  • Moved customizations to their own separate folder
  • Changed target ID to slightly flashing colors for overheal and low health
  • Changed health pickup text
  • Changed disguise status
  • Changed alternative disguise menu to default (the old one is in customizations)
  • Changed loading screen and statpanel
  • Added dropshadow to killstreak symbol
  • Updated for Contract Trade-ups
