Is the surface of the FK1 that much better than the FK2014, enough to upgrade? The FK2014 surface is the only complaint I ever had about it.

caembermolehektikpovohatSensei Raw has an older laser sensor (Avago A9500)
Zowie FK1 has a current optical sensor (Pixart PMW3310H)

Sensei's sensor has accel, FK1's hasn't!

I don't get accel with my sensei raw. I ran Mouse Movement Recorder to test it.
you can test your hardware accel like that: go into TF2, mark your mouse position with your thumb, move the mouse an arbitrary amount slowly, then move it back really fast until it hits your thumb again. If you end up in (basically) the same location, you don't have hardware acceleration

I've tried that and haven't noticed any accel.

Received my Zowie FK1 today, and i have zowie fk so i can make a sweet comparisson too.

The coating/surface on the mice is WAY better, and the clicking feels better!(omg huano actually are good) XD
Ill not even exchange to omron switches since i enjoy the clicking now

The sensor looks like flawless, as it make 5ms max speed in any dpi, both 500hz 1000hz stable, LOD is REALLY low and perfect for my artisan hien/hayate/puretrak talent/allsop xL

Also i dont know if anyone told ppl but there is 3 levels of LOD configurable in this mice.. 1cd 1,5cd 2cd

So, perfect right now, ill just take a while to be good with him, but it feels confortable and confiable.

Holy cow, the default feet is are super thin. I've only used this a week and I swear I'm scraping plastic. Why include a second pair of feet when the default feet are ridiculously thin? -.- Counter productive and really adds no value.

Like he said a second pair is included. You can simply put it on without removing the feet to get some extra height. Would like to hear something about that from enigma/someone who used the mouse for a while.

I'm using extra mouse feet from Tiger Gaming for FK ebay [/url], with it mouse sliding a bit better imo and get even lower LOD. It's very cheap and have free shipping.

I mean most mice don't come with extra feet at all so you might as well treat the FK1 as one of those mice.

So it's totally fine to have the "original" feets for 7 days and already replace them with the second pair in your opinion?

I fully understand that this might be some specific case, but holy shit 7 days, that doesn't sound good at all.

you could just use 2 sets of mouse feet or just put some puretrak hd feet on the mouse (mouse feet are pretty cheap to begin with)

or you can literally buy a thick roll of teflon, trace the old mouse feet on the backing, and proceed to cut the new ones out to whatever thickness you want. That always works.

I don't think you can treat one user's experience as typical, especially since he seems to be using some sort of plastic pad.

I've been using it on the icemat for a few weeks with no problems.

Makes sense; while my FK doesn't track on my icemat, it doesn't scrape like it did on my 9HD, propus, and zowie swift.

enigma, how is the malfunction speed on the icemat?

I'm not, it's just strange to me. He's been using Hiro from ROCCAT if I'm not mistaken.

Been checking Canadacomputers quite often for this but it has never been in stock which is strange considering it's now been put on sale.
Might go with a different mouse now, any other mice suggestions for big hands?

Has anyone tried the Zowie Camade mouse bungee ? Is it useful ? Since the FK1 doesn't even have a braided cord.

I'm buying a bundle which includes that with the mouse and it's gonna be essentially free.

edit: Zowie FK1 grab em' while you can finns
