Crosshair7 on smaller resolutions

So probaly many people wouldn't mind about this, but I realise that the default crosshair7 in tf2 is too thin. I've seen videos where it's thicker and I know the crosshair slider appears to change the thickness but it does not actually have any difference. Does it only work on higher resolutions? If so is there any workaround for this. I play on 1280x768. Thanks alot! C:

You can still rely on hud crosshairs, you might need to center them for your resolution though. It doesn't take a long time anyway.

There's also this : http://teamfortress.tv/thread/12383/real-custom-crosshairs-from-ozfortress
Perfectly centered crosshairs, but last time I tried it didn't work on sv_pure 2 so maybe I fucked up something.

you need to use the xhairs on a pub server or something prior to joining any sv_pure 2 server.

Doesn't look like tf2's ones but will do. If theres a way to change the thickness at lower resolutions its appreciated though. Thanks for the hud crosshairs btw.

I think its about time valve does something about this, most tf2 crosshairs suck cause theyre too thin or poorly visible, the dot looks like a losangle ffs... hud crosshairs might be an alternative but they still suck if u use different crosshairs on different classes.
It would be nice to see a thickness option or an outline one or brighter colours

They do have a thickness option. But it only works on a minority of crosshair sizes and probaly only on 1920x1080 or anything close to that. Don't know why it doesn't work on lower resolutions. Hope they do something about this.
