Hi,

So basically since I got my new rig I've be able to run maxquality at 210 fps (which is my cap) without going below 170 in firefights.

After L&W update launched I've only gotten 50 fps no matter what I do (different configs, maps, etc).

Anyone have any other advice or is this just where TF2 is until Source2?

I'll reinstall I guess.

kirbyhave you tried verifying cache?

it is a mystery

Sounds like its not using all your cores? Try making sure the multicore setting is still on/toggling it off and on. Seen a few people with this problem or similar, will hopefully be patched anyway soon.

fps_max smooths out your game a bit for those bad fps drops, find a fps where you think it would be nice to keep stable so for example fps_max 300

What about other games? Could be conicidental that it happened around L&W update. Might be Hardware fault. See if you have shitty frames in other games and other Source games too see if its the engine fucking it up or games in general
