So I'm starting to get into streaming and was wondering how the looping images for the cast intros were made, so I could make my own for other maps? (i.e the panning of process mid abut use a surf map instead)

I'd assume it's done from a demo smooth then looped in a video editor. The smooth would have to be at a pretty high fps to be as slowly panning as the ones on the streams.

If you mean the map smooths that loop around the mid point, those were made in SFM.

I'm assuming they're made in SFM and then looped using like sony vegas/adobe after effects
overlays are most likely made with photoshop with like the casters name/avatar and the rest of the text are made using text/image fields in OBS/xsplit/whatever
